Chocolate that has encountered melting will appear dull coloured or may have greyish/white streaks and dots. This indicates that the cocoa butter is separating from the chocolate and is rising to the surface. Although not the prettiest in appearance, the chocolate is fine to eat with little impact to the texture or taste of the chocolate.
Amanda's Own products are made in a facility that is completely free of the top 10 allergens plus gluten, sulphites, lupin, and latex. Amanda's own was created by a fellow food allergy mom and their website contains detailed information on allergens. All raw ingredients are Kosher certified but the facility is not yet - they are currently working on the facility Kosher certification.
