Kevala sesame tahini is made in a facility completely free of peanuts and tree nuts. The jar does not state tree nut free facility as this is a USA brand and coconut is considered a tree nut for allergen labelling in the USA and they do have coconut in their facility.

This item arrived in the sealed manufacturer case and the plastic seal is intact on the lid. These jars had some oil on them. The jars are unopened and sealed; however, they have been reduced to clear due to oily jars.
