Shipping, Returns & Payments

PLEASE ENSURE YOU VERIFY YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS PRIOR TO COMPLETING YOUR ORDER. We are not responsible for packages delivered incorrectly or lost due to incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by a customer. No refunds will be provided if any parts of the address are incorrect. In addition, if your address in entered incorrectly, shippers may charge to correct the address or may return the parcel to us, which is extremely costly. If the incorrect address is your error, you will be billed for the fee. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Shipping Times

Orders are shipped out within 1-3 business days (weekdays). You will receive a tracking number via e-mail when your order ships. Although you may receive a tracking number at night or on a Saturday or Sunday, orders are only picked up on weekdays that are not statutory holidays.

Please be aware that once your order is with the shipping carrier, we cannot influence the shipment speed, delivery time, etc. We are also not responsible for delivery delays due to incomplete addresses, so please ensure you list a full address (not just a PO box).

 

Canadian Shipping

No Nuts About Us offers flat rate shipping, which means you can order one item or ten items and the shipping fee will be the same.

Orders are typically delivered within 2-5 business days; however, more remote areas may take up to 13 days. If you are in a hurry and wish to have your order expedited, please email orders@nonutsaboutus.ca to request expedited delivery (additional costs may apply).

Remote areas, difficult to serve, and air stage areas will incur additional shipping fees. You may be contacted via email and additional shipping charges may be required if your address is located within a "remote" area or if your order is overweight or oversized. If no response is received, one follow up email will be sent. If three days have lapsed since your order date and no response is received, your order will be cancelled and refunded. A restocking fee may apply.

Perhaps remote is not always the correct word. Shipping carriers use the term “remote” to indicate areas that have higher than “normal” shipping costs. These rates are based on your postal code or zip code, not on the street address. Unfortunately we have no control over these rates and do not know which areas are included until we enter it into the shipping program. Please note that ALL of our customer shipping rates are LOWER than the actual shipping costs.

 

Free Local Pickup

Free local, contactless pick up is available in the Grey Bruce area. Pick up is limited to certain days and times. If you will be picking up your order in Southampton, Ontario, select the local pickup option during checkout.

 

US Shipping

No Nuts About Us offers flat rate shipping based on your order total to the 48 contiguous United States and Washington D.C. Shipping fees and products prices are charged in Canadian dollars.

Orders to the USA may take 4-21 days to be delivered depending on customs; however, remote areas may take longer. If you are in a hurry and wish to have your order expedited, please email orders@nonutsaboutus.ca to request expedited delivery (additional costs may apply).

Please note that any fees, duties or taxes may be charged on US orders. These fees are the responsibility of the customer.

 

Missing or Lost Orders

We cannot track every order after it leaves our facility, so please contact us if your parcel is missing. If you do not contact us, we do not know your order is missing and cannot rectify the situation. We cannot control the shipment after it leaves our facility, but are happy to assist you to contact the courier to locate your parcel.

If your order is missing and the tracking information is showing that hasn't moved in 5-7 days (10-15 days for remote areas), please contact us. We can initiate a claim. However, you must also reach out to the shipping company directly as we are not responsible for lost orders after they have left our facility. Please note: parcels shipping to locations farther away from our facility in Ontario may take longer to arrive, some shippers do not update tracking at regular intervals.

We strongly suggest that you provide a shipping address where you know someone will be present to receive shipments. Many people choose to ship to their business address for this reason.

Although not common, parcels can get stuck in transit. After a claim is initiated, we will provide a refund for the missing parcel AFTER is has been deemed lost by the carrier. Refunds will not be provided until the claim process is complete as parcels could still be delivered.

 

Special Delivery Instructions

Unfortunately, carriers do not accept special delivery instructions. If you add a delivery instruction on your order and we add it to the shipping system, it will be up to the driver to honour that instruction if they choose. We cannot control whether your instructions will be followed.

 

Temperature Controlled Delivery

Some items may melt or soften during shipping when the temperature is over 20 degrees Celsius. Please check the disclaimer on the product for more information. Temperature controlled delivery is available for an additional cost. Please email info@nonutsaboutus.ca for detailed information on temperature controlled delivery.  

When shipping chocolate items, there is a risk of product damage during warm weather or when shipping to warmer climates. If you choose to ship any products that have chocolate in them, you assume the risk of this possibility when you place an order for those items.

 

Damaged Items

With the exception of melted chocolate as mentioned above, if you receive a package and there is damage, we require pictures and a description of the type and number of damaged items. This is necessary for us to make the damage claim with the carrier. Damaged items will be refunded only after the carrier claim is complete.

 

Returns
 
Our goal at No Nuts About Us is to ensure that you are totally satisfied with your shopping experience. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within seven days of delivery and we will do our very best to make it right.

Due to the nature of our products and the severity of the food allergies of our family and our customers, returns are not possible.
 
Shipping fees are non-refundable. EMT refunds are subject to a $2 fee.

Payment Options
 
All prices are in Canadian dollars. This means that customers from the USA will have a lower rate when they are billed via their credit card company due to the exchange rate.
 
When you pay via EMT, no credit card or PayPal fees are charged to us, which we appreciate! If you would like to pay by EMT, please follow the instructions on the EMT page during checkout. You order will not be processed until the EMT is complete. Send your EMT to orders@nonutsaboutus.ca - we are set up for autodeposit so no password should be required.
